Music: True Crime Series — The Dark Side of Fame, Every Wednesday in Puerto Vallarta
Every Wednesday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at The Joint Co-Work, host Selena Luna invites you into one of the most original and gripping weekly experiences in Puerto Vallarta — a one-hour immersive journey that blends music appreciation, rare archival footage, cinematic storytelling, and true-crime investigation into the lives of the world’s most iconic artists. Each session opens by celebrating the artist through their music and cultural legacy, then peels back the layers to examine the controversies, crimes, conspiracies and industry forces that shaped — and in many cases ended — their stories. Artists explored include John Lennon, Britney Spears, Selena Quintanilla, Elvis Presley, Tupac Shakur, Kurt Cobain, Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston, Diddy and more.
Part listening party, part salon, part investigative deep-dive, this series is designed for music lovers, true-crime fans and curious minds who want to look beyond the headlines and ask harder questions about fame, power and the industry that feeds on both. Admission is 350 pesos and includes complimentary drinks and snacks. Seating is limited — reserve your spot at selenalunaproductions@gmail.com before it fills up. Once you see behind the spotlight, you can’t unsee it.
