Songs of the Season — La Biblioteca’s Youth Choir Celebrates Semana Santa
On Tuesday, March 24th at 5:30 p.m., the children and young singers of La Biblioteca Pública’s choir take the stage at the stunning Templo de La Tercera Orden in the heart of San Miguel de Allende for Cantos de Pasión — a special Holy Week concert featuring beloved traditional and popular songs of the Lenten season. It’s a warm, heartfelt performance that captures the spirit of Semana Santa in one of the city’s most beautiful and historic sacred spaces.
Entry is completely free and open to everyone, making this one of those simple, genuine evenings that reminds you why San Miguel de Allende is such a special place to be. Come and show your support for the next generation of local musicians — La Biblioteca would love to see you there.

The Biblioteca Pública A.C. of San Miguel de Allende is a historic nonprofit cultural center and bilingual library located at Insurgentes 25, Centro, C.P. 37700, just a short walk from the main jardin. Housed in a former colonial building with leafy courtyards, it combines one of Latin America’s largest collections of English‑ and Spanish‑language books with reading rooms, a café, bookstore, and dedicated venues like the 91‑seat Teatro Santa Ana, making it a lively community hub for lectures, concerts, theater, film, classes, and bilingual educational programs for all ages.
