Strings Across Time — Dúo Nigromante Presents “Momentos del Infinito” at La Biblioteca
On Tuesday, April 14th at 5:30 PM, the intimate Sala Quetzal at San Miguel de Allende’s beloved Biblioteca Pública comes alive with the sound of classical guitar as local duo Dúo Nigromante presents their concert “Momentos del Infinito” — a captivating journey through centuries of guitar repertoire. Formed in January 2022 by guitarists Antonio Romero García and Nun Kether Arredondo Granados, both originally from San Miguel de Allende, the duo is known for blending the elegance of the classical tradition with the expressive boldness of contemporary music.
The program spans from Baroque to contemporary works, featuring duo pieces by Antonio Vivaldi, Enrique Granados, Astor Piazzolla, and Julio César Oliva, alongside solo pieces by a variety of composers. Your ticket is a donation of $275 pesos directly supporting La Biblioteca Pública — a small price for an evening of music that stretches from 18th-century counterpoint to the soulful rhythms of the Argentine tango.

Sala Quetzal is an intimate cultural hall located inside the Biblioteca Pública de San Miguel de Allende, at Insurgentes 25, Centro, C.P. 37700, just a few blocks from the Jardín Principal and the Parroquia. Recognized for its striking mural by artist David Leonardo and its exceptional acoustics, this warm, small‑scale venue—equipped with a grand piano and audiovisual projection—hosts concerts, book presentations, poetry readings, talks, and community classes, offering a refined yet accessible space for the city’s literary and musical life.
