Two Stars, One Destiny | A Festival Stage Play About Second Chances (From February 7th to 28th)
Two Stars, One Destiny follows Ana and Mireya, two actresses who meet again at a film festival just as each is about to make a drastic decision that could change her life. Written by Guadalajara playwright Arturo Villaseñor and directed by Juan Pablo Hernández, the play explores fame, friendship and depression with a cast that includes Ana Cecilia Espinosa, Mary Godínez and Juan Carlos Ramírez, supported by thoughtful lighting design and staging that keep the focus on the women’s emotional journey.
Premiering in Spanish on Saturday, February 7 at 8:00 p.m., the production runs on February 7, 14 and 28 in the auditorium of the Instituto Vallartense de Cultura on Cuale Island, offering locals and visitors an intimate look at contemporary Mexican theater in a cultural landmark setting.
