Wind Symphony Orchestra | A Free Night of Symphonic Sound in La Paz
The Wind Symphony Orchestra brings a powerful concert of brass, woodwinds and percussion to Teatro de la Paz in downtown La Paz on January 28, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with free admission for all attendees. The Instituto Sudcaliforniano de Cultura (ISC) is the public cultural body of the state of Baja California Sur, responsible for sponsoring, promoting, and disseminating the region’s artistic and cultural activity. The Professor Jesús Castro Agúndez Cultural Center is a landmark arts complex in downtown La Paz, located on Antonio Navarro s/n, between Altamirano and Héroes de la Independencia, C.P. 23000, Baja California Sur. Its main venue, the Teatro de la Ciudad, is a proscenium theater with tiered seating, professional stage and technical equipment that hosts concerts, theater, dance, film screenings, and major festivals, while the surrounding galleries, library, and historical archive make the center a cultural hub for exhibitions, lectures, and community programs throughout the year.
