Three cities in Mexico were included among the top 10 in the world, according to the 2026 edition of the Travel + Leisure “World’s Best Awards,” and a fourth made the top 20. San Miguel de Allende was named the best city in the world, per the magazine’s rankings, with Oaxaca judged fifth best and Mexico City ninth. No other country in the world had as many entries in the top 10, and Japan was the only other country to have two of the top 10 cities.
