La Leyenda del Cempasúchil

Xóchitl y Huitzilin eran dos jóvenes enamorados. Cuando Huitzilin fue a la guerra y murió, Xóchitl subió a una montaña y pidió al dios del sol ver a su amado otra vez. El dios la convirtió en una flor dorada que brillaba de noche. Un día, un colibrí, el espíritu de Huitzilin, tocó la flor y miles de flores naranjas crecieron en el campo. La gente comenzó a usar estas flores para guiar a los espíritus durante el Día de Muertos.

El cempasúchil es una flor mágica y especial en México, porque representa el amor eterno y la unión entre la vida y la muerte.
